Reg's Beer Battered Phlippen Chicken Burger is not only a masterpiece, but a tongue twister!
Phlippen Original
2 Eggs
Beer Batter
3/4 Cup Plain Flour
4 Chicken Breast
Canola Oil
1.5 oz of Shredded Cheese
Favourite Rub/Spice Blend
Mayonnaise
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Red Onions
Start with the Beer Batter. Mix: 1 Egg, 3/4 Cup of Beer, 3/4 Cup of Flour & 1 tbsp of a Spice Blend.
Season your Chicken Breasts with your favourite spice blend & dunk into the Beer Batter.
Put Chicken Breast into your Canola Oil & begin to fry. Remove the Chicken Breast when it reaches 165F internal. (Tip: Place on paper towel and pat dry to remove excess oil).
For the Chaffle: Mix: 1 Egg, 1/2 tbsp of Spice Blend & 1.5 oz of Shredded Cheese & pour into a waffle maker for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise with 1/2 Cup of Phlippen Original.
Slice up your Burger toppings (i.e. Lettuce, Onion, Tomato ...)
Place the Beer Battered Chicken onto the bottom Chaffle & top with your Burger Toppings & a healthy dose of that Phlippen Mayo!
