The Simplest Phlippen Salmon

The Simplest Phlippen Salmon

The ultimate weeknight "cheat code." In less than 30 minutes, you get flaky, caramelized salmon with a crust that’s packed with Phlippen flavour. No mess, no stress—just pure taste.

Prep: 25m (includes marinating) | Cook: 20m | Heat: Your Choice (Mild to Hot)

Ingredients:

  • 2 large Salmon fillets (fresh or thawed)

  • 1/2 cup of your favourite Phlippens Sauce (Original, Hot, Sweet Heat, or Jerk)

  • Optional: A pinch of sea salt for the skin

  • Optional: Lemon wedges for serving

The Gear:

  • Air Fryer

  • Basting brush

  • Small tray for marinating

Instructions:

  1. The Phlippen Rub: Place your salmon on a tray and pour your chosen Phlippens Sauce over the fillets. Rub it in well, ensuring the top and sides are completely coated.

  2. The Wait: Let it sit and marinate for 20-30 minutes. This allows the smoke and spices to penetrate the fish.

  3. The First Blast: Place the salmon in the air fryer basket. Set it to 390°F and cook for 10 minutes.

  4. The Glaze: Open the basket and brush on another layer of Phlippens Sauce. This second layer creates that sticky, gorgeous glaze we’re after.

  5. The Finish: Slide it back in for another 10 minutes. The edges should be slightly charred and the sauce perfectly caramelized.

  6. The Final Call: Serve as-is, or if you’re a true sauce boss, add one more drizzle of Phlippens before you dig in.

Phlippen Tip: Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. You want the air to circulate so the edges of the salmon get that signature crispy finish.
