Phlippen Chicken Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts (about 1 lb total)
  • ½ cup Phlippens Sauce (your choice), divided
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup ranch dressing or mayonnaise
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced avocado, crispy bacon, pickled jalapeños

Instructions:

  1. The Season: Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. The Cook: Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  3. The Slice: Slice the chicken into thin strips or dice it into bite-sized pieces. Transfer to a bowl and toss with ¼ cup of Phlippens Sauce until evenly coated.
  4. The Drizzle Prep: In a small bowl, mix the ranch dressing (or mayo) with 2 tbsp of Phlippens Sauce for a smoky, creamy drizzle.
  5. The Warm: Warm your tortillas in a dry skillet for 10-15 seconds per side, or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for 20 seconds. This makes them pliable and easier to wrap.
  6. The Build: Lay a tortilla flat. Spread 2 tbsp of the Phlippens ranch drizzle down the centre. Layer with shredded lettuce, Phlippen chicken, cheese, tomato, red onion, and any optional toppings.
  7. The Wrap: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom up, keeping everything tucked in as you go. If needed, secure with a toothpick.
  8. The Serve: Slice in half diagonally and serve immediately. Serve extra Phlippens Sauce on the side for dipping.
